Jedoch wird aus der Retro, die nicht richtig gelebt und umgesetzt wird, schnell ein lästiges Ritual. Bestenfalls sind die Teilnehmer gelangweilt, schlimmstenfalls kommen gehässige Diskussionen auf, welche die Zusammenarbeit belasten. #### Wenn Retros, dann bitte richtig Diese Sätze schon mal gehört? «Lasst uns jetzt gleich noch schnell eine Retro machen, wir haben ja noch eine halbe Stunde» – «Was war denn nicht gut in der letzten Iteration? Gibt’s etwas, was euch nicht gepasst hat?» – «Nein? Gut!» … also Retro, check! Wer wirklich den Prozess der kontinuierlichen Verbesserung in seinem Unternehmen starten möchte, der sollte sich auch ernsthaft mit dem Thema «Retrospektive» auseinandersetzen. Die 5 Phasen der Retrospektive («set the stage», «gather data», «generate insights», «decide what to do» und «closing») sollten nicht nur bekannt sein, sondern mit unterschiedlichen Moderationstechniken umgesetzt werden. Gute Vorbereitung ist Pflicht! Der Moderator ist der Helfer der Gruppe. Er begleitet und unterstützt sie dabei, bessere Ergebnisse zu erzielen. Zu diesem Zweck muss er Methoden und Techniken der Moderation beherrschen und den Teilnehmern neutral und wohlwollend begegnen.  Nur dann sind die Ergebnisse auch wertvoll und bringen nachhaltige Verbesserung in die Organisation. #### Iterativ und inkrementell Eine weitere Regel ist: Immer nur kleine Schritte gehen! Der Hintergedanke dabei ist, sich nicht zu viel vorzunehmen. Lieber nur zwei oder drei konkrete Massnahmen ausarbeiten, diese aber auch konsequent umsetzen. Wenn das regelmässig passiert und bei jeder Durchführung die letzten beschlossenen Massnahmen auf Umsetzung und Wirkung kontrolliert werden, kommt Schwung in den Verbesserungsprozess. Für Verbesserung braucht es Veränderung – geschulte Moderatoren sind das Fundament, um nachhaltige Verbesserung im Unternehmen herbeizuführen. > *Nur wer das **Gestern** versteht, > kann **heute** dafür sorgen, > dass es **morgen** besser wird!* Alles Gute beim Besserwerden!
